Mick- Thanks so much to you and the Stud Brothers. Countless Sundays were spent enjoying the band at Bunker's with my friends and family. I was so pleasantly surprised to find you all in Aspen CO in 1995. Best of luck to you as you move on, and I look forward to hearing the new band when my family and I return to the Twin Cities (or wherever you may tour) in the near future. David Wermus |

Great CD! Really like the sound and the songs are well written. Definitely a few with the "Asbury Park" feel to them. Love it!! |

Greetings Mick, I just finished your book…an honest, insightful look at the life of a musician. You deserve recognition for not only your great music, but your dedication to pursuing your passion and sharing the experience in the book. The Minnesota music community is fortunate to have a leader like you that “walks the talk” and does so many things right. It is a touching account of your personal experiences…thank you for sharing it. |

Caught Mick & the new lineup at the Tap Room last Saturday and OH ME OH MY(!) were they ever amazing!!! After hearing one song, there was no question in my mind that the decision to move forward with the new lineup was right. The new material is strong, the musicianship top notch and Orlando and Tommy's rich backing vocals really fill out the songs. Lots of guitar (3 guitarists!), rock solid bass, excellent drumming, and also some fiddle and harmonica in the mix, and a percussionist too. It was great to hear Donnie pounding those keys in a different manner than our ears have grown accustomed to. Interesting selection of cover tunes. A great gig. Keep your minds and ears open and get out to see this band NOW, you won't regret it! |

| Mick: I became a fan of yours through the Heart & Soul fests, and since I live near Rochester, I don't have alotta opportunity to hear you live. I love the Stud Brothers, but I was recently given your most recent solo CD. Although, I'm more a fan of your blues stuff, I loved the CD! It is honestly one of the most intensely spiritual collection of songs I've ever heard, inside or outside of a church. I am a regular church attender, but I've never gotten hooked on Christian pop music, cuz I just don't like the tone of the delivered message much; but, your CD is about as straight forward as the message can get, and had some great irony in the tunes. |

Are mothers-in-law permitted to write here? Since I am the only one you have, I think I can. Your book and your new CD are at the top of my list for important events in my life for 2005. The new band is so easy to listen to, and exciting, I might add. I am thrilled for all of you, and take great pride in leaving the merchandise on my coffee table and pointing out "This is my son-in-law." Excellent work, Mick, thank you for including me in some of the news as it breaks, and congratulations for all your good decisions all these years. You make us all happy. |

Mic, I went to see you with my youngest daughter Alison (11) at the Blue Fox. I was very surprised not to see any horns, but the band sounded great, even though we had to leave after the first set. I also enjoyed your book. Good luck with the new lineup. |
